DAVAO CITY – Hulga sa terorismo, illegal nga druga, human trafficking, smuggling, piracy ug robbery sa mga coastal areas sa Davao Region ang kalakip sa sumpoon sa bag-ohay pa lamang natukod nga border security coordinating council.
Una ang gitataw ni Major Ezra Balagtey, public information officer sa Eastern Mindanao Command (Eastmincom) nga magtinabangay ang mga member agencies alang sa pagpahigayon ug exclusive security response, batok sa bisan unsa man nga hulga sa seguridad sa rehiyon.
Kahinumduman nga napahimutang isip Chairperson sa Konseho si Lt. Gen. Rey Leonardo Guerrero, commander sa Eastern Mindanao Command (Eastmincom), samtang vice-chair for land si Police Regional Office (PRO) Director Chief Supt. Manuel Gaerlan, ug Vice Chair for Intelligence ang Director sa National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Vice chair for Sea ang commander sa Naval Force sa Eastern Mindanao, ug Vice Chair for Air ang Regional Director for Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
Ang director sa Department of Interior and Local Government mao ang napili alang sa integration sa Sea, Air ug Land Border Security, samtang si Col. Gabriel Viray the third sa Eastmincom ang head secretariat.
